Launched by IIM Indore in 2011, the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the first of its kind program in India.The programme is aimed at students who have passed out of class 12th / Higher Secondary or equivalent from various schools in India.

IIM Indore IPM Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to appear for the IIM Indore IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

• Age: Candidates should be born on or after August 1, 2001. A relaxation of 5 years is provided for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent exams (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

Selection Process:

The selection process for the IIM Indore IPM program consists of two stages. Candidates are evaluated based on their performance in the IPMAT-Indore, Personal Interview (PI), and assessment of previous academic records.

• Stage 1: Candidates must first qualify for the IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore.
• Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates from IPMAT will move to the next phase, which includes the Personal Interview (PI) and evaluation of their past academic performance.

Only candidates meeting the criteria at each stage will be considered for final selection, and a category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the Composite Score (CS).

Exam Pattern:

The IIM Indore Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a five-year undergraduate course tailored for students aspiring to build a career in management. The IPMAT entrance exam is pivotal in the selection process and is held annually. The IIM Indore IPM stands for Integrated Program in Management, a program meant for young aspirants of management and leadership. It is aimed at students who have passed out of class XII/Higher Secondary or equivalent from schools across India.

B.A. + MBA = IPM (Indore) Degree

Inspired by IPM programs abroad, this course combines 3 years of Under-Graduation studies with 2 years of Post-Graduation studies or master’s.

The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Indore is structured in two main parts: the Undergraduate Phase (Years 1-3) and the Postgraduate Phase (Years 4-5). This comprehensive program is designed to provide a seamless transition from an undergraduate education to a management-oriented postgraduate study within five years. The Program structure of IIM Indore IPM consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years, with each year having 3 terms of 3 months.

Part 1: Undergraduate Phase (Years 1-3)

In the first three years, students focus on building a strong foundation in core subjects such as:

• Mathematics
• Statistics
• Economics
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Political Science
• Foundations of Management

These are the years when students are better prepared for business challenges as they learn more about academic disciplines. This curriculum is supposed to prepare them smoothly to be placed in the management-oriented courses in the postgraduate phase.

Part 2: Postgraduate Phase (Years 4-5)

The postgraduate phase emphasizes specialized management courses and advanced business concepts, preparing students for leadership roles. The Key features of the Postgraduate Phase are as follows:

The first three years build a foundation, and the last two years focus on management.

The students who complete the Integrated Program of IIM Indore IPM at the end of the third year will be conferred with a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration under the Dual Degree Program.

IPM students at IIM Indore must also do a social internship at the end of year 2. Besides the social internship, IIM Indore IPM students must also do a business internship with the PGP students between the 4th and 5th year.

IIM Indore Cutoffs for IPM

Candidates are shortlisted based on their sectional cut-off marks and above-average overall scores for the Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Indore under the IPMAT.

Cutoffs change every year, keeping in mind the level of the examination, the number of registrations, and the open seats available to candidates.

IIM Indore IPM Fee Structure

The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIMI) is a five-year course with its fee structure divided into two phases:

• The first three years
• The last two years

Foundation Stage (First Three Years)

For Indian students, the total cost for the initial three years is approximately INR 17,14,133. This includes expenses for tuition, lodging, internet, and library access. Additional fees include a refundable caution deposit of INR 50,000 in the first year and an annual mess deposit of INR 54,000. Medical insurance premiums are also applicable each year.

PGP Stage (Fourth and Fifth Years)

The final two-year fees correspond to the current Post Graduate Programme (PGP) charges. Presently, the PGP fees are approximately INR 21,17,158 for two years. However, these figures may change, so it’s recommended that you refer to the official IIM Indore website for updates.

IIM Rothak IPM

IIM Rohtak offers a distinctive Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) designed for students who have completed their 12th grade. These programs bring a fresh perspective to the world of business education for budding leaders of tomorrow.

Pertaining to the IPM program, the institute confers a BBA degree after the completion of three years, which is followed by the regular PGP program. The students also have an exit option after three years, which keeps their ground open to new opportunities.

IIM Rohtak Programs Offered

The institute offers two UG programs to students right after class 12:

Selection and Admission Process:

The announcement of Call for Online Personal Interviews (PI) is usually done in the 2nd Week of June. The shortlisting will be based on the IPM AT scores. The candidates during their personal interviews will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills. The interviews are ususally proposed to be held in the Fourth Week of June.

IIM Ranchi IPM

IIM Ranchi is one of the few IIMs that offer the five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) course. It is a cross-disciplinary management program that has a blended course of management studies from Undergraduate (BBA) to Postgraduate (MBA). IIM Ranchi accepts the IPMAT Indore scores, which is one of the entrance tests conducted for IPM.

IIM Ranchi is considered one of the top management institutes in India, and it has received recognition from various reputable organizations. According to the NIRF 2023 rankings, it is positioned 24th in the Management category.

IIM Ranchi IPM Important Dates

IIM Ranchi will accept IPMAT Indore 2025 scores for IPM admission. IPMAT Indore 2025 will be a computer-based test held online. Find below the important dates.

IIM Ranchi IPM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed the 10th standard/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th standard/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination (or equivalent) with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more marks. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the 10th and the 12th standard would be calculated based on the Board’s regulations. If there is no such regulation regarding aggregate marks from the concerned Board, then the aggregate marks of all the subjects that appear in the grade sheet will be considered for calculating the passing percentage.

There will not be any age limit for the applicants.

Admission Process:

Admission to Integrated Programme in management of IIM Ranchi will be based on

performance of candidates in the Aptitude Test (IPMAT, conducted by IIM Indore), Personal Interview (PI) and their Academic profile. The PI process will be conducted by IIM Ranchi.

All candidates applying for the IPM program of IIM Ranchi would also have to fill an online application form on the IIM Ranchi website, which will be used for further evaluation.

The shortlisting criteria, weightage for different components and the profile scoring method are given below.

I. Initial shortlisting for PI Process

An initial shortlist (from the list of applicants) shall be prepared comprising of candidates who will be eligible for the PI process for admission to the IPM 2024-29 batch of IIM Ranchi. This shortlist will be purely based on performance of the applicants in IPMAT 2024.

II. PI Process

The PI process will be conducted in physical mode at New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai,Bangalore & Ranchi.

III. Final Admissions 2024-29

A Consolidated Merit List (CML) would be compiled on the basis of Admission Test Score,PI Score, and Academic Profile Score based on the overall academic performance at the secondary and the higher secondary levels.

IPM Ranchi Seats Intake

For the year 2025-30 IIM Ranchi will be offering 120 seats (tentative). The reservations for these seats are applicable as per the GoI regulations.

IPM Ranchi IPM Fees

The fee for IPM for the batch 2024-29 in the first three years was ₹15.63 lakh (excluding Caution Deposit, Alumni Fee & Mess Expense). And the fee for the last two years will be equal to MBA fee assigned for that year.

IPM Program at IIM Amritsar(Launched in 2025)

The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar announced the launch of the IPM Program from the academic year 2025-2030.

The second academic year, 2026-31, for IIM Amritsar IPM students will begin with taking the IPMAT-Indore 2026 entrance exam. IIM Amritsar offers a one-of-a-kind, specialized degree with BSQFE (Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance and Economics) and MBA.

However, like every IPM program, IIM Amritsar will award students undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with an option to exit after the BSQFE degree.

Eligibility:

• • Age: Candidate should not be more than 20 years of age as of 1st July 2025.

• • Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2024 or appearing in 2025 with Mathematics / Applied Mathematics as a compulsory paper.

• Minimum Percentage (%) of marks: Candidates should have a minimum of 60% in standard X/ SSC (55% for candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category) and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.

Selection Process:

Stage 1

Only those candidates who meet all the following criteria will comprise the pool of candidates to be considered for shortlisting from Stage 2 onwards:

• Meet the eligibility criteria for the i-MBA program
• Have submitted an application complete in all respects including the applicable application fee.
• (c) Have appeared for the IPM-AT 2025 conducted by IIM-Indore and have submitted their registration numbers to IIM-Amritsar within the stipulated time
• Have obtained a positive (non-zero) score in each of the components of the IPM-AT 2025

Stage 2

Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI) from the eligible pool on the basis of the Aptitude Test Score (ATS). The minimum ATS cut off based on the categories of applicants (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PwD) will be decided by the Admissions Committee. The ATS will be calculated using individual components of IPM-AT 2025 scores by using the formulae in Table-1A:

Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are rejected at this stage.

Stage 3

Shortlisted candidates based on the ATS score shall appear for the Personal Interview. IIM Amritsar also expects a consistent and minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Interview, including academic profile, communication skills, general awareness, and extra-curricular activities.

Stage 4

Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS) and provisional admission offers will be made accordingly adhering to the Government of India reservation norms.

Despite being relatively new, IIM Jammu has done well in placing its students in big companies like Accenture, Amazon, Bosch, Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Intel, Siemens, and more. IIM Jammu IPM Admission: JIPMAT

IIM Jammu accepts JIPMAT scores to offer admissions into its IPM course. JIPMAT is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The JIPMAT scores are accepted by IIM Bodh Gaya as well.

JIPMAT Exam Pattern

The JIPMAT 2025 examination, scheduled for April 2025, will adopt a computer-based test (CBT) format. The test is projected to include 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) distributed across three sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. 

Candidates can anticipate earning four marks for each correct answer while incurring a deduction of one mark for every incorrect response. The entire exam is expected to be completed within 150 minutes (2:30 hours). The total marks achievable in the exam are 400. The medium of the exam will be English.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2022,2023 or appearing in 2024. The candidate must have passed Standard X/ SSC or equivalent examination in the year 2020 or later.
• Qualifying Examination-Candidate should have a Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category). Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of July 31st, 2024, can also apply.
• Applicants pursuing their XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply.

Under the New Education Policy 2020, students are provided an exit option with a BBA degree/ certificate subject to completing the required norms. This program has been strategically designed to allow the students to exit from the program after completing each year up to the third year.

The admission for the 2025 session will be through JIPMAT 2025, which stands for Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test and is a national-level entrance exam. It helps students pursue a 5-year integrated management (IPM) program, allowing them to earn both a BBA and MBA degree.

IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Eligibility

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed the 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts/commerce/science stream or equivalent with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) or more in the year 2025 or appearing in 2026. 
• Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by 31 July 2025 can also apply. The candidate must have passed the class 10th examination with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) or more in the year not before 2022.

The application of the candidates, who are appearing in the Class XII examination, will be provisional till their Class XII results. The candidates who do not score the requisite score above will be considered to be out of the application/admission process.

IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Seats

IIM Bodh Gaya intakes 120 Indian students for its IPM course everyday. These seats do not cover the seats reserved for foreign students.

IIM Bodh Gaya IPM Fees

The total fee for the five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Bodh Gaya is approximately Rs 33 lakhs, which includes the hostel fee for the first three years, but excludes mess charges. The breakdown is as follows:

• First Three Years: Rs 5 lakhs per year, including hostel fees
• Fourth and Fifth Years: Rs 18 lakhs for both years
  Candidates opting for international immersion will incur an additional fee.

Upon receiving an admission offer, candidates must pay an offer acceptance fee of Rs 60,000, which will be adjusted against the first-semester fee.

Withdrawal Policy:

• Withdrawal before the specified date: Refund minus a Rs 1,000 processing fee
• Withdrawal after the specified date: No refund.

IIM Shillong IPM Program 2025

On June 18, 2025, after a long wait, IIM Shillong has finally released the application form for IIM Shillong IPM’s inaugural batch. 

Earlier this year, in a notification dated April 1, 2025, the Indian Institute of Management Shillong announced the commencement of its IPM course from 2025. This notification release marked the entry of the 7th IIM to join the league of IIMs providing the IPM course in the country.

Following the initial announcement, on May 8, 2025, the institute also released the details around the admission criteria, processes, and focus areas of this unique program.

Since IIM Shillong is going to accept the IPMAT-Indore scores, the general perception will be that it will have the same IPMAT-Indore eligibility criteria. 

However, there are additional criteria to be met by students who are eyeing the IPM program at IIM Shillong.

• Age

Candidates should have been born on or after July 01, 2005 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/DA category will be given, i.e., born on or after July 01, 2000).

• Minimum Qualifying Marks

• Candidates must have a minimum of 60% in their 10th grade/SSC examinations and 12th grade/HSC or equivalent examinations (55% for candidates from SC/ST/DA categories).
• Candidates must have studied mathematics or applied mathematics as a subject in Standard XI and XII.

• Entrance Test 

Candidates must have appeared for the IPMAT (Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test) conducted by IIM Indore. IIM Shillong will consider the IPMAT scores for shortlisting candidates for the Personal Interview (PI) process.

IPM AT NALSAR

 

The five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at NALSAR is a unique program for young ignited minds aspiring to pursue a career path in Business Management. Candidates who have applied for CLAT (UG) /IPMAT – (IIM Indore)/IPMAT (IIM Rohtak)/JIPMAT (IIM Jammu & IIM Bodhgaya)/JEE (Mains) can apply with the proof of the registration for the said tests. They need to submit the score cards immediately after declaration of the merit list of the said examinations but before the last date to submit the application form.

 

Admission Procedure:

The admissions to the Integrated BBA-MBA Degree Program will be made considering the CLAT (UG) /IPMAT – (IIM Indore)/IPMAT (IIM Rohtak)/JIPMAT (IIM Jammu & IIM Bodhgaya)/JEE (Mains), Academic credentials, and Personal Interview. Admissions will be offered as per the above-mentioned criteria.

Based on merit at the admission test and performance in 10th and 10+2 or equivalent examination, the candidates will be short listed for personal interview. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the candidate may choose to submit the best one as per his/her choice. Alternatively the candidate may upload all the scorecards of which the best will be considered for the preparation of merit list through the process of standardization/normalization.

IPM IIFT Kakinada

The Five Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at IIFT-Kakinada aims at imparting managerial and decision making capabilities to young professionals along with integrating management education with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Candidates successfully completing the course requirement of integrated programme in management would be awarded Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) at the end of 3 years and Master of Business Administration (International Business) at the end of 5 years by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Candidates opting for exit after completing the requirement of first three years, would be awarded Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics). The first three years of the IPM program would be based on semester system and the last two years would be based on the trimester system (as per the prevailing MBA course structure).

 

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Eligibility for Admission:

 

• Candidates should have passed 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts/commerce/science stream or equivalent with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) or more in the year 2021, 2022 or appearing in 2023.
• The candidate must have passed class 10th examination with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) or more in the year not before 2019.
• Mathematics/ Business Mathematics as a subject in +2 level is mandatory.

 

 

Age

 

• A candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2002 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1997).

For short-listing/selecting the candidates, IIFT will use score of IPMAT examination conducted by IIM-Indore

 

Selection Process

Merit list for selection of the candidate for the admission will be prepared on the basis of his/her IPMAT Score of IIM-Indore, Academic Profile of class 10th and Gender Diversity.

Fees and Accommodation:

The course fee for the first three year of the programme is Rs.4 lakh per annum excluding hostel and mess fees. Course fee for the fourth and fifth years would be as per MBA(IB) programme fees set for that year.

Integrated Programme in Management 2022-27 is a fully residential programme.
